Forced sales of homes

The number of forced sales is calculated monthly by Statistics Denmark; the figures are distributed on property type and geography. The source of the calculation is the Danish Official Gazette (Statstidende). Forced sales take place through the bailiff’s course upon request of the creditor.

The statistics comprised announced forced sales in Denmark, excl. of the Faroe Isles and Greenland. Even if a forced sale comprises more than one property, it only counts as one forced sale – the same holder of the conveyance only counts once.
